| A left-hander, Peterson is noted for his very strong throwing arm and unlimited potential. As a senior, he totalled 14 touchdowns, 11 passing and three rushing. His passing totals included 116 of 215 passes completed for 1,425 yards in leading Churchill High School. Peterson was second in the MVP voting in the Southwest Texas all-star game. He is the son of Seattle Seahawks scout John Peterson.
The signal caller just returned from serving a two year Mormon mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
