I’m going to have to start this entire report with an apology… I’m sorry! I’m sorry that I’m not a good enough writer or journalist to break down this game. I’m sorry that I’m a homer! I’m sorry that I’m a fan that is totally down with the head coach, the coaching staff, and the players!

 I apologize to all our loyal readers and message board posters that I wear the Cherry Colored glasses! Accuse me of mancrushing if you must. Accuse me of being unprofessional. It’s all good, as I am guilty as charged!

My scrappy Lobo team went out and gave everything they had to nearly come away with a win vs. Utah. And once everything was said and done and the Lobos came up just short, 3 of the greatest Red Menace guys came out to be with their biggest fans…

The Red Menace isn’t a group of rich fans and we aren’t going to be confused with the pretty boys, we don’t roam the sideline, we pull our resources and purchase tickets for ourselves taking the cheapest seat in the entire stadium. Basically, we are freaking mutts! Loveable and loyal mutts! And Saturday night after hard fought battle 3 young men all playing their final collegiate game in Albuquerque made the sprint to say thank you to their most ardent supporters…

While that may not mean much to many of the 30K plus that showed up for the game and the 15K plus that actually stayed until the end, for the group of fans in The Red Menace Zone it was one of the greatest Lobo Leaps ever! And for me personally, it gives me the juice to continue running this website! To continue doing things Red Menace Style! And to continue having to apologize for my un-professionalism!
