Unfortunately, real life took me away from
catching NFL Pro
Day down at the Indoor Practice Facility today as I showed us just a
few
minutes to late as last year’s senior players were working out for
scouts from
NFL football teams.
The
way we see it here is these are the top 4 former Lobos
we see as being drafted or being invited to an NFL camp.
Glover
Quin
DeAndre Wright
Matt Quillen
Rodney Ferguson
The
NFL scouts weren’t to hip on giving away times and
information as they usually keep things close to the vest, so I don’t
have any
kind of official or even unofficial numbers.
Still
I had a chance to talk to 2008 Red Menace Fan
Appreciation Award winner DeAndre Wright as he participated in today’s
NFL Pro
Day as he felt his 40 time wasn’t good while in Indianapolis for the
NFL
combine, and yes he did improve his 40 time while here.

to our interview with DeAndre.
I also had a chance to speak to Chris Mark about his future
in football. According to Chris he hasn’t retained an agent, but wants
to keep
his name out there as not only is there the dream of NFL, but with the
American
Football League starting and the various Arena Football teams and
leagues
playing you never know…

our interview with Chris.
Stay tuned to TheRedMenace.com as Draft Day is on the way
and for interview with future Lobos.
Also…
Spoke with 2007 Red Menace Fan Appreciation Award
Winner Travis Brown who is leaving this weekend to join the St. Louis Rams. We
would like to send out good wishes to Travis and hope he catches on
with the
Rams.
