Ryan
Honeycutt made showed up big time today for UNM as
the baseball team beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 14-4, and finish
the
four-game series 3-1. The Left fielder will be one of the players
you can vote on for "Leader of The Pack" went
4-for-4, 3 runs scored, a double, a home run and 4 RBI.
Pitcher Bobby Moore (1-0) picked up his first win
of the season throwing
five innings, giving up six hits, three runs and two walks, while
striking out
one.
It was Honeycutt who was the rage as he ended his day with a three-run
homer in the bottom of
the seventh to put UNM ahead, 9-4.
Honeycutt wasn't the only Lobo to go on a
tear as C Adam Courcha picked up an RBI triple, putting the
Lobos up 13-4.

Right fielder Chris Juarez also had a great day going 4-for-5 with 2
runs
scored. Juarez's RBI in the eighth inning was the final score to give
the Lobos a 14-4 final and end their opening weekend with a 3-1 mark.
