Red Menace Radio: Coach Birmingham

The regular season didn't end like we all wanted to, still you can't argue with success.

The Charlie Daniles Band once sang "All I have left is a bad case of the Birmingham Blues". It seems that was the blues that UNM was singing after being swept by the TCU Horned Frogs in the MWC baseball showdown  was tempered by the realization that this in not the Lobo Baseball team of the future. In fact, in the future the opposition will be singing the blues when they meet "Brimingham Ball" .

 

Coach Brimingham agreed to speak to TRM after the heartbreaking loss on Senior Day. I, after all, was one of Coach Brimingham's most ardent supporters when he applied for the job after the retirement of Rich Alday.
