A Month of Visitors

Eye on Recruiting takes a look at some young men that will be visiting the 505 this weekend.

The Lobo coaching staff has really benefited from a 9 win season including UNM's first bowl victory (New Mexico Bowl) in 2007. The one time on ESPN has really helped the coaching staff get into better recruits homes.

This upcoming weekend will be huge for the coaching staff as they are entertaining a large group of recruits. Here is a list of recruits that we have been able to lock down this weekend.

6-1 220 LB Jaime Irving

According to Brandon Huffman the Lobos are in the lead for Jaime's services. If you haven't read missed this article click here to read about it.

A three-year starter and the Southwestern League's Defensive MVP, Carr wracked up 38 tackles for a loss over the last two years and 25 sacks over that span, including 11 sacks in 2007. Carr, a Division I recruit, also tallied 94 total tackles and, according to former Temescal Canyon coach Mike Sands, was "just an animal." Carr currently has an offer from Air Force

Originally committed to Baylor, Mason a dominating defensive playmaker had 86 tackles on the season, 15 sacks, and 24 tackles for loss. While linebacker is his true position, the position most schools are recruiting him at, he admits he likes putting his hand in the dirt to rush the quarterback
