Q & A with Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial quarterback...

FoxSportsNext: What were your stats/honors from last season?

Tre Grant: "2,300 passing yards 18 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs and honorable mention all region." 

What is your official height and weight?

"6-3 175."

What is your greatest football memory?

"My sophomore year we went undefeated and beat our rivals Westview in the final game."

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

"To throw under 5 INTs, 0 fumbles and to make my team better and of course win state."

What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?

"I have been trying to improve on my consistency and accuracy a lot and I would like for my running game to get better."

Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?

"Of course everyone knows Jalen Ortiz and Marcus Farria but other than that Wes Westbrook, Jayleen Brisco, Shawn Poindexter, and Keesean Green."  

Name one teammate you really respect and why?

"Wes Westbrook because he is the type of person when you see him he is always happy nothing ever gets him down he is a natural leader and is a great guy off the field as well as on."

What are your goals regarding playing football in college?

"I am open for anything I get, I am just trying to get to college and wherever that takes me is in God's hands." 

Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?

"Air Force, New Mexico. No offers yet."

Would you consider staying in state to play in college?

"Yes, I am open to going anywhere."

What would your top 5 college choices be?

"U of A, ASU, New Mexico, Wyoming and Air Force."

Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?

Devon Allen because he had good feet very good routes a lot of speed and a competitor."

What other sports do you play?

"Track and baseball."

What is your GPA and SAT/ACT score?

"3.3 GPA, ACT 18 and I have to retake the SAT."

What will the main factors be when you choose a school?

"Atmosphere, coaches, family, location."
